MBA is good knowledge. But it is also too expensive. All the success stories come down to the personality of the student, how they shape their life after MBA. In most cases, you should be able to start your own business without getting MBA (and also saving money).

All of these places are overrated, how else do you explain the fact that our manufacturing base is such a joke? Maybe if these arrogant pigs coming out of these so-called top universities weren't so arrogant and greedy we wouldn't be in this mess!

Btw, why isn't richard fuld in jail!

These places churn-out greedy arrogant people that go into companies and screw over those folks that do the actual work. I got canned from a manufacturing company in April of last year. I was there for 18-years doing work that was often grueling. But then in '08 a new CEO came in and she, with the help of her board cronies, was given a bonus of over $6-million. She then made the shareholders happy by recouping the $ by replacing HUNDREDS of us with people willing to work for peanuts!

When you don’t know what true for you, everyone else has unusual influence.

Values are deeply held personal beliefs that form your own priority code for living.

Values are the individual biases that allow you to decide which actions are true for you alone.

    What are your values?

I'm currently a Biotechnology and Bioinformatics student – and I'm looking forward to doing my MBA from Stanford. What I would like to know is how should I go about completing my application i.e. in terms of experience or leadership.
