    I like it. You could use a system of solar panel, compressor and big air tank, which would run over the day and supply your car or bike with compressed air. Or perhaps a bigger system at home, with big air tank (which could be placed in the backyard space-saving under the earth) which would power your home at night. This system would be ecofriendly, because you dont need any batteries. The solar power would go direct to the compressor and fill the tank. And once installed, it runs forever without maintenance work like system with batteries, which must be replaced after a certain load/unload-cycle.

    You all seem to be forgetting one thing:  An air powered vehicle, or an air powered anything, is ONLY as good as the power source that recharges the tanks, just as an electric car is only as good as the power source that produces the electricity to charge their batteries, even when that power source is a GASOLINE ENGINE or a COAL-FIRED POWER PLANT!

    People are dumb. Why do they say it is zero emissions when it takes energy from the power grid. The power grid does not run on air. The only zero emissions is to walk…. unless you fart a lot.

    His design maybe not, but Guy Nergra of MDI (out of France) His car design is already Viable.. and there is a guy in Australia that has advanced his air motor to comercial levels as well. Compressed Air has the potential to change the world… don't laugh it off so quickly.

    Today in india they start to use this kind of motor for the cars, in France we can find cars like that, sure we need to charge after 100miles, but for the city is perfect, and they made dual system, with 15 liters of alcohol, oil etc the systeme can run for 600miles. But at this moment they discover this system, they need more time and more workers for have better results.

    a gas moped will get 100-140 miles per gallon. this thing will NEVER be viable.

    Looks like a tonson 5 piston air motor about 0.5 hp. They would get about half a mile range with two tanks and if they had done a decent analysis they would have figured out it is horendously inefficent and short range. An elecrtic bike with lithium cells is much better. And no you can't magically make it better. Physics rules

    I would suggest using the chrome moly Scuba tanks made by Worthington as they are lighter, occupy less external volume and hold more air.
