At the Ariel University Aerospace and Nano-Satellite Research Center, a multidisciplinary team of scientists and researchers in physics, robotics, mathematics, computers and engineering are working in cooperation with the Israel Aerospace Industries, and putting their heads together to create and develop new groundbreaking nano and pico-satellite technologies. Bulky conventional satellites are extremely expensive to build, launch and operate, making them affordable only to large governmental agencies. AU’s team is developing innovative optical laser and accurate aiming technologies that enable launching swarms of fist-sized satellites to work in tandem with one another for higher quality and faster data transfer than current radio-wave technologies. This new technology promises to provide a much broader spectrum of satellite communications at a fraction of current costs, for example, enhanced pinpointing applications for emergency rescue teams in remote locations, such as in the Nepal earthquake.

    Take that BDS ! So unbarable for those hate-filled idiots that an Israeli university would successfully develop auch an advanced satellite system but they would probably explode (no explosives needed this time) out of rage once realizing that the labs are located in Judea/Samaria .
