Amazing!!!! Best Choir in the World. Best score ever.Even the announcer cannot believe her eyes. University of Stellenbosch Choir with conductor Andre van der Merwe from South Africa. 99% at the World Choir Games in Riga. 13 July 2014. Please note second place points too at the start. Incredible!!! In this kind of competition there are 7 judges and each scores out of 20. They throw away the highest and lowest scores and keep the middle 5 scores to make up 100 points. For that reason two had to give them 19.5 out of 20 and at least 4 judges had to score a full 20 out of 20. It is just insane. Please subscribe to my channel for more choir videos

    The support we received from the other South African choirs that day was just incredible. I will never forget how all of us got together outside the building to sing the national anthem with the rest of the South Africans. It was so special!
