02 Jun Boston University School of Engineering Study: Autonomous Robotics & Hybrid Units

Assistant Professor Calin Belta (Mechanical Engineering) and his research group discuss autonomous robotics, control principle and hybrid programs.

Belta’s research requires the examine of checking and managing robotics “swarms.” The compact automated robots, or “swarm,” have programs in mapping, and armed service and fireplace search-and-rescue missions. The latest funding from the Countrywide Science Foundation and the U.S. Air Power Younger Investigators System will allow Belta and his group to develop architectures to control and coordinate these missions.
