Lots of students have messaged me on instagram asking me about each of the papers at premed (biomed/healthscience) at Auckland University.
I intend to cover all of the core papers – worth 60% required grade for med
But here is the first one
BIOSCI107 is about cell/tissue biology. It is one of the most fundamental aspects of learning physiology prior to medical school. It is also one of the challenging ones
The content is heavy, and with lectures almost everyday, the amount of studyload builds up very very quickly. Knowledge of it beforehand is necessary in order to give yourself the best chance of successfully getting into medical school.
If you are serious about wanting to apply for medicine (MBCHB) to become a doctor, it is important that you review your current study methods first.
The students who do well are not necessarily the ones who revise beforehand, but those who have a robust study efficient study system – how fast and well do they take in new information for long term retention?
