About:
Welcome to askCamDoc! The first ever social media based guide for medical students. We’ll share with you our personal experiences, funny stories and lessons we’ve learnt to help guide you in your very own journey as a medical student.

My name’s Shaene and I’m a final year medical student and neuroscience supervisor at the University of Cambridge. My aim is to create a resource that’s relatable and accessible to all medical students whatever stage you’re at. I, along with other student doctors, are going to share our stories and lessons in order to help you deal with life as a medical student. This guide will cover things like how best to approach each year, how to organise your time, what resources to use, what to prioritise, how to get involved with research, how to build an outstanding CV, how to plan the best elective, as well as some general life advice here and there. We will also be running lessons on important preclinical and clinical topics.
