First of all – uni brand name points
Second of all – you will get much better because of the competition, and if not, then it still doesnt matter, since you wont improve at all if you are always on top.
Third of all – well, it depends on the person. I would be bitterly angry by not being at the top, and thats why I improve. And guess what – being with an environment where everyone is smarter than you – you can learn everything from them, at that point its just managing to get friends.

This is a very lazy point of view from this guy, I dont trust it. Its much coming from me, infamous for slacking off, but I also know completely how a competitive environment changes all of that.

I request that you as a study tuber speak up for the plight of private candidates who have been denied centre assesed grades and as a result missed out on their university offers altogether. A lot of private candidates swear by your videos to learn content and need influencers to be their voice. This can help 20,000 unfortunate students by putting pressure on the government to formulate policies for the progression of private candidates to further education.

I disagree, there is no such case of being incapable of coping with the pressure and difficulty of a top university. Everyone has the same brain, what matters is how motivated one is. By giving speeches like this, you are merely targeting those who are from lower backgrounds and tend to be impressionable and trustworthy of educators so that they can give up their hopes and go to a low end university while the rich kids can go to high end universities and the class system remains in place and wealth is distributed more equally between high end and low end universities. Also, as someone said below, try getting a job by saying you could've went to Oxford but chose to go to Ravensbourne instead.

But isn't the quality of education better overall in higher ranking universities?

why can't everyone just help each other out, if they all do brilliantly not many people will drop out and it would probably make the university experience more fun and less stressful.

Hmmm… I always thought in life you should try to surround yourself with people who know more than you so that you can learn from those people as well? It’s like that saying “If you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room”. But this is an interesting point of view, also enjoy these types of videos.

Honestly if you get accepted to a top tier uni you should go, you never know what you're capable of without trying and if you don't get accepted it's simply not the end of the world, there are other opportunities to excel.
