23 May McGill Dances for Cancer Research Lipdub

To highlight some of the critical work being done at the Goodman Cancer Research Centre, we gathered some of our top scientists, students, lab techs and dedicated volunteers, who turned on the music – and danced!

Thanks to our proud sponsor, Medicom, a donation will be made for each hit to support advances in cancer research at the Goodman Cancer Research Centre.

Dr Gold is fab. Such a good video. Research is good very good. Let's beat cancer. Out of interest – how close is your WiFi router to where you sleep or sit in the day? I am researching the dangers and effects of EMF radiation. Also do any patients have a history of using mobile device data (3G 4G). Try out an EMF meter – there are videos on YouTube showing the levels around mobile phone masts, mobile devices using data and WiFi routers. The on set of young dementia is increasing and I am seeing a correlation between the two as well as some cancers. I have not yet finished my research so have no real evidence apart from the fact that everyone has a mobile and most homes have a more and more powerful WiFi router not to mention the baby monitors that people put right next to a newborn baby that is basically a powerful radio right next to their head. It makes you really wonder what all of this is doing? Thank you for any information and reply. You can always hard wire your router and use a cable to connect your PC and turn off the radio part of the router. Also putting your mobile device in airplane mode is advised when not using it. Lots of things we can do. But you can have no idea if when you sleep, a neighbours WiFi router is only just through the thin wall right next to your head. Use an EMF Radiation meter and you will be surprised at how high the level is way over the recommended level. Please let me know if any patients have used a mobile phone. Thank you.

mcgill promised me to undergo perfect PhD studies and it turned out that my professor had a lot of problems. her name was silvia vidal and she treated me really terribly and also mocking of my personality. Mcgill destroyed my career. McGill was my worst nightmare. i dont really know whether i can recommend it to anyone at least in research !! my professor silvia vidal had a lots of problems with the students in the university of ottawa, thats what ive been told by another professor at mcgill. he told me that you are not the first student who has problems with this professor. she had lots of problems with so many students in the university of ottawa. now the tricky thing is that its not yet known whether she was pushed by the university of ottawa to leave or she decided to leave by herself. the dean of medicine, at that time Dr. Heather Durham treated me very badly !!! they accused me of receiving salary without telling the university that money is still being debited into my account from McGill. that is so bad because at that time, the responsible of finance, Mrs. Di caprrio told me via phone that you were still paid at McGill after you had left the lab of Dr. Silvia Vidal. so, the dean of McGill accused me that i stole the money. its not a university that stand by the student, instead they tricked me as a student !!

this is probably the most viewed video for the university channel. marketing money well spent to recruit younger scientists. I've probably watched this half a dozen of times since it first launched. Well done!

Cancer is a horrid thing. On top of all the hard work and commitment these people put into finding a cure, they put in even more time to do something that's outside their comfort zone – to get their work out there and get sponsor support. My Pop Choir is all about the power of song, so we really get this magic!

It's such a shame that no one knows there is a cure for cancer. WATCH "Healing Cancer" the movie or "Fork Over Knife": both on itunes or netflix. Sure it's a lifestyle change, which isn't a BILLION dollar pill…so no one wants you to know about it. But it's something. I no longer support cancer research because once you understand how little progress has been made since the 60's, you'll realize what a waste it is. Support stem cell research or animal protection groups etc.
