FLOX are a group of interactive developing elements mostly specific at youthful little ones, created by a group of 5 pupils from Delft University of Technological know-how (nicknamed Mindhive) as element of the small Interactive Environments.
The Interactive Environments Minor is a shared initiative by the college of Architecture and Industrial Design and style of the Delft University of Technological know-how (The Netherlands). The Interactive Environments small is a six months multidisciplinary program involving Hyperbody (A) and ID-StudioLab (ID). The small is hosted by the Science Centre of the TU Delft in a committed laboratory area.
The FLOX are a swarm of intelligent parts that enable little ones to make their have spaces in (semi-)general public environments. Factors can conveniently be picked up and joined with many others to generate numerous intriguing shapes. The serious magic, on the other hand, will come from inside of, The hull of a FLOX is in fact an exoskeleton for a creature of light that can be found radiating by means of its have superstructure. FLOX use their light to communicate with the person and react to the interactive approach of (re-)assembling and as a result working with a framework. Acting like a swarm, they manual, encourage and reward their users throughout this approach by developing prosperous displays of colored light.
