20 Jun Online Education Course Program Eval UB-Faculty Research Day
Paul Gruhn, presents an overview of his University of Bridgeport, Faculty Research Day – Student Submission Poster. This poster summarizes a final project submitted in his EDLD 808 Program Evaluation Course, taught by Dr. Linda Paslove at UB. The program evaluation assignment, was to practice and learn various methods for performing an education based program evaulation, and the to present in a final research white paper, and in class presentation the methods & results of the work. On March 24, 2017, this final project was presented at the University of Bridgeport, Faculty Research Day, as a student submission poster. At the bottom of the poster is a QR Code which people can scan to bring them to a supporting website which includes much more detailed information on the research. People can download the poster, a powerpoint, and the research paper from this website. I also integrated various social media platforms to help promote this work. More than the research, and the poster, It is my goal to show people how you can take a 2×3 foot flat piece of paper and make it interactive. I hope to use more of this in future poster presentations. I can visualize a poster with 5 or 6 QR codes which people will scan to provide links to interactive web pages. The Poster Comes Alive. – Paul Gruhn, Doctoral Student, in Education Leadership, at the University of Bridgeport.
