Schools that spend money on sports is stuuuuuupid! Danish education doesn’t give give out sports scholarships, only America and other dumb countries do that. And if they did they would pay their athletes instead of exploiting them to make teachers rich on the backs of others.

IN Denmark everything these is free college school books there government pays for your college books it comes from people's taxes to pay for it it's not free it's paid from the people's taxes in a way it's better then the USA college it's free in Denmark and they give u a play to live and your tax money pays for that to over here people borrow money from the government to go to college and they pay big big loans to pay back and they never pay it back American college students have billions of dollars in death to pay off its bs college should be free they claim America is the richest country in the world that's what they say but it's bull shit

money doesn't depend on your grades. as long as you're studying (in school), you get the same every month. now, it's not enough to cover all your bills (rent, transportation, food/shopping). it is true that tuition is free. but, many of the books needed for the different studies aren't free.

Universities in denmark do not have sport teams, sport is for leisure and not a career. we have a few places where the focus are on sports and you can get a education too but its not universities as such.

Danish schools don't have sports teams… Our cities have though, and i you do a sport here, it's mostly football (soccer), you join the local club and not the school.

Would it be possible for an American to get accepted into a university in Denmark? im thinking about moving there to study.

I hate it when i talk about the benefits Denmark provides because I always get a Danish relative who bitches like this "yeah but we pay high tax for it!" STFU, SO DOES THE REST OF THE WORLD. I live in Australia, Australia's taxes are high and their education fees have risen dramatically in just 2 years!!! full time education fee's for Tafe used to be around $900 for a full time student for a 12 month course back in 2013… but NOW, they want you to pay $12k for full time study 12 months…. And this is tafe we're talking about, not Uni, Tafe was meant to be a place where you can study at a cheaper cost than Uni…I'd rather live in denmark than this shithole.

I moved from England to the US in my junior year, gonna be senior next year and I was so worried about college and all the cost I guess I don't have to worry about that anymore, I'm moving to Denmark baby unless I get a soccer scholarship here.

Half of USA students die with their University debt not paid off.
Many USA students default on the student debt also.

Socialism in    Denemark  is SUPERIOR TO        usa capitalism.

This is great, but $900 US is not much money in Denmark. So don't get jealous so fast. A hot dog and a soda snack from a 7 eleven in Denmark can cost $10 US, and the hot dog will not be fully loaded with chili, cheese, relish, mustard, and sauerkraut. If you want to do the laundry at a Montvask it will cost at least $20 US for one load. You want to eat at an all you can eat buffet, the same, it will cost at least $25 US dollars, soda not included, for a buffet with just 20 items. Where in the US a buffet with 100 items is cheaper than one in Denmark with just 20 items. Though while being in Denmark I was very happy to just find that these things there at least exist, but they were very expensive to US in comparison. However you can shop around and shop at Lidl, a German based supermarket where prices are more reasonable. The most fun things are the clocks for parking that you stick on your windshield of your car to mark the time that you parked your car instead of needing to pay for parking at parking meters.

also applies to germany in a way, we can get bafög, wich is up to 650€ a month as far as i know. it's not exclusively for university students, under some circumstances you can even get paid for other forms of education after class 10 (~highschool). you will have to pay back about half of it at some point though, but still alot of it is "free".
i don't know all the datails though beause i don't need it/ didn't apply for it.

also my college costs 250€ a semester, 100€ of wich is for a public transportation ticket that would cost 270€ if i bought it regualrly.

I am looking forward to the day that US puts up and average Joe for election who would screw the rich and big cooperation so that the average American could get a foot hold over there… Until then you as ordinary people will just have to let the rich and big cooperation screw you
