Still think humans rule the world? Think again. University of Chicago neurobiologist Cliff Ragsdale and other members of the Ragsdale Lab share what they discovered after sequencing the octopus genome. Also interviewed is deep-sea octopus specialist Janet Voight at the Chicago Field Museum.

    Has anyone tried raising them while feeding the mother so she doesn't die? It would be interesting to see the generational thing happen. Or are there other factors which cause the mother to die?
