More than 150 incoming Rowan University Educational Opportunity Fund/Maximizing Academic Potential Program students embraced U.S. Sen. Cory Booker when he made Rowan the Gloucester County stop on his 21-county Jersey Summer Road Trip on August 4, 2016.

During a spirited talk, Booker peppered listeners with life lessons from his college football days at Stanford University, encouraged them to make the most of their educational opportunities and pushed them to change the world.
