03 Oct Undergraduate Chemical Engineering Research – Iowa State BioMaP REU

The Iowa State University Biological Materials and Processes Research Experience for Undergraduates (BioMaP REU) is a summer undergraduate research program funded by the National Science Foundation. Each summer since 2006, Iowa State has attracted students from all over the country – as well as from Puerto Rico and Mexico. More than 150 students apply every year for 12 coveted spots and chances to work with Iowa State chemical engineering faculty on projects. At the end of their 10-week program, they present at the Iowa State University College of Engineering Undergraduate Research Symposium. These experiences prepare undergraduate students for graduate study. For more information go to www.cbe.iastate.edu/research/undergraduate-research.
