07 Jul Cornell University Summer College: Biological Research and Health Professions (Precollege Program)
Cornell University Summer College invites motivated high school students from around the world to attend its acclaimed three- and six-week precollege programs. Every summer approximately 1,000 students experience college life, earn credits in Cornell courses taught by top-notch faculty, attend admissions workshops, explore academic majors and careers, and make friends from more than 40 countries.
In this video, Summer College student Alla, from Salisbury, Maryland, discusses her experience in the “Biological Research and the Health Professions” program, one of more than 20 programs and 60 Cornell courses offered between June and August. The biology program gives students the chance to meet doctors and scientists, get hands-on lab experience, discuss hot issues in research, and explore the training of a life scientist.
