Great video! I wonder… Does the NHSC only help pay for graduate programs? I’m about to start a post-bachelor absn program at Emory and wonder if i could still apply for this. Thanks for sharing!

    Hi Lada,

Thanks for the info. I know you said that everyone in your area received the funding due to high HPSA score. Do you remember what your sites score was? I'm just trying to get some perspective of what scores tend to get accepted and which ones are unlikely too.

    thanks.

I have kind of a question I’ve been hesitant to ask lol. Was your job that you worked for the loan repayment horrible? The only sites that are approved in my area seem to have tons of complaints, and also are in very, very bad parts of the city. This doesn’t scare me off, but I’m just wondering if it’s worth it to be miserable for two years.

Hi Lada! I’m still a high school student and have been interested in this program. I was wondering how you get money for food and other daily expenses like that. Do they pay you a salary like a job along with the loan repayment? Overall it seems like a great program and I’m definitely going to look into it! Thanks for the great video!

I think the hospital I currently work at is a qualifying hospital for the scholarship. I went to the scholarship site & tried to look up the HPSA for my hospital but it's all a little confusing to navigate. I'm not sure what I'm looking at or what I am looking for to make sure it a qualifying facility. HELP! Do you have a direct link that will take me straight to where I can find out if my hospital qualifies or is there a list I can print out that lists all the qualifying hospitals & clinics in my area? Btw I live in the Los Angeles area. TIA.

I am an FNP, waiting to take my boards. I just missed the application deadline after watching ur video. I will assume i have to have my boards first? Which is more in demand? Psych NP or FNP? Is the hourly or yearly salary worth it, apart from the scholarship or loan repayment i'd have to pay back?

    Hi Lada,
Thank you so much for investing in other nurses and making your amazing videos. I will be graduating from my FNP program in May 2019. I received an email that the 2018 NHSC loan replayment program is now open and accepting applications. Do I need to wait until 2019 to apply or should I apply now? Thank you for your help! Have an amazing day!
