18 Jul Know thyself: a summer intern tests the waters of scientific research
Every year a select group of high school students forego the lazy days of summer to get to work on cutting edge research projects at Stanford University School of Medicine’s multiple internship programs. They follow their unique interests and passions and explore a variety of biomedical fields as they test the waters of a career in science. One intern in particular hopes that the experience will bring her a little closer to an understanding of herself.
